Swimming is simply a part of any summer vacation. In Inzell mermen and mermaids have it especially good: a natural swimming lake surrounded by water lilies, cattails and bulrushes with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.

There are also three lakes - Weitsee, Mittersee oder Lödensee in the nature preserve between Ruhpolding und Reit im Winkl. The Thumsee near Bad Reichenhall is a beautiful emerald green gem nestled between the mountains. There are many beaches at the Chiemsee, as well as the option to rent motor boots.

The entire area around Inzell offers thousands of things to do for all age groups all summer long. The many beaches, unforgettable mountain pasture hut adventures and excursions on the lakes and rivers will excite families. In addition to the amazing nature experiences, there are many other excursion options - the Fairytale and Amusement parks in Ruhpolding and Marquartstein, boating to the Chiemsee islands, horseback riding at a farm and many more exciting options. Biking halfway around the Chiemsee and returning by boat is also especially fun for families. Or you can bike or hike up to the mountain summer pasture huts, visit the cows and goats and enjoy fresh milk.
